Emotions are already part of your team.
Turn it into a strength.

Discover a new team dynamic

A team doesn't function solely based on skills and objectives. The way it manages its emotions also influences its dynamics.

This is where team emotional intelligence (TEI) comes in: the collective ability to recognize, understand and regulate the emotions that emerge within the team.

Because a team also develops its own ways of functioning, beyond the emotional skills of each individual.

Based on concrete situations experienced by the team, we help the group to better understand what is happening emotionally and how to respond to it.

Why Team emotional intelligence ?

52%

Belgian employees do not feel emotionally safe in their workplace
- Great Place To Work, 2025

According to the research, TEI allows...

Strengthening trust

More reliable, respectful, and secure working relationships

Communicate more openly

Members are more willing to express their ideas, disagreements, and concerns.

Better manage tensions

Emotions and conflicts are addressed before they damage relationships.

Collaborating more effectively

The team develops ways of working together that facilitate cooperation and problem-solving.

Unleash more creativity

TEI is shaping a more favorable environment for new ideas

Strengthening collective efficiency

TEI supports cohesion, coordination and the capacity to achieve objectives

Because an emotionally intelligent team isn't a team without tension. It's a team that knows how to handle it.

Measure and understand

  • Based on scientifically validated instruments, an assessment of your team's dynamics is carried out.

  • You get a clear reading of what works, what doesn't, and what needs to be addressed as a priority.

  • We determine if team emotional intelligence is a relevant development lever for your team.

If TEI is not the priority, we will inform you and guide you accordingly.

Act

  • We compare the measurement results with the reality of your team during a group workshop.

  • The team learns to recognize, name and regulate together the emotional dynamics that influence its functioning.

  • The team leaves with a concrete action plan, built from its own reality.

Anchor

  • A few weeks later, a second workshop is organized with the team, based on a new measure, to take stock of what has been put in place, what is resisting and what still needs to be worked on.

  • This time allows the team to reconnect, take a step back and review the progress made since the first workshop.

  • The team leaves with a clear vision of its progress and a readjusted action plan.

About

Empirical research as a starting point

A study conducted with 100 workers in the Belgian service sector examined the factors that influence the emotional dynamics of teams. The results notably highlight the role of team emotional intelligence in cohesion.

From these results emerged a workshop for teams, designed to develop this collective skill and measure its effects over time.

The project is led by Anne Janssens, a graduate with a Master's degree in work and organizational psychology from ULB, and is directly based on the results of her research thesis. From September 2026, she will pursue a Master's degree in clinical psychology at ULB while developing this activity as part of her student-entrepreneur status.
